Remembrance Day at The Vale Crematorium
The Vale Crematorium, near Evesham, is inviting members of the local community to visit on November 10 or 11 as a mark of respect for Remembrance Day.
Visitors to the crematorium will also be able to buy poppies in support of the Royal British Legion and light refreshments will be available on both days. A two-minute silence will be held at 11am on November 11.
The Vale Crematorium is part of Westerleigh Group, the UK’s largest owner and operator of crematoria and cemeteries, with 37 sites in England, Scotland, and Wales, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens of remembrance which provide pleasant, tranquil places for people to visit and reflect.
Site Manager Catherine Linfield said: “Remembrance Day is a time when so many people pause to think about all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
“Our peaceful and tranquil site is a fitting place for people to visit and make their own remembrance. All are welcome.
“We wanted to do something to mark Remembrance Day as part of our continuing efforts to play a positive role in local community life and to engage with the people who live in the area surrounding our beautiful site.”
